Job Summary

Senior Finance Manager for the LWF Chad Country Program, based in N'Djamena with regular travel to field offices. Leads financial management, accounting, donor compliance and reporting across multi-location operations; ensures robust internal controls, asset safeguarding, and timely financial statements. Oversees cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, procurement alignment with the LWF Procurement Manual, and coordination with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and donors. Supports senior management decision-making as part of the Country Management Team, reporting to the Country Director with technical guidance from the Finance Controller. Requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance/Accounting/Finance-focused MBA, professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CA) desirable, and minimum 5 years in financial management within humanitarian/development contexts. Strong knowledge of donor regulations (GFFO, GAC, UN agencies, WFP), proficiency in SAGE or similar systems, advanced Excel, budgeting and reporting skills, and leadership experience managing finance teams across multiple locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration-Finances, or related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CA) are highly desirable.
