Job Summary
Finance Manager – Capital Management at Singtel KL leads capital accounting operations, oversees capital project governance and WIP monitoring, ensures accurate capitalisation and financial reporting for the capital project portfolio, and drives process improvement and transformation. The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, professional accounting qualification (advantage), and a minimum of 6 years in capital accounting or related fields, with proven experience leading finance teams. Partners with Senior Directors, Project Managers, and stakeholders to ensure governance, compliance with capital management policies, and delivery of operational excellence. Experience with SAP S/4HANA or Tagetik and strong analytical, stakeholder-management, and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in capital accounting, fixed assets, project accounting, or financial management
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing finance teams
- Strong knowledge of capital accounting principles, fixed asset accounting, and financial governance
- Experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred), Tagetik, or similar ERP and reporting platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process optimisation and transformation initiatives
- High attention to detail, sound judgement, and commitment to maintaining strong financial controls
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinating with offshore teams
