Job Summary
Finance Manager to own the operational accounting and financial reporting backbone of Ratehub’s brokerage businesses, integrating CRM-driven data with revenue recognition, and leading automation and process improvements. Responsibilities include the monthly/quarterly/annual close for brokerage operations, extracting and reconciling data across CRM and source systems, building management reports linking operational metrics to financial performance (revenue by carrier/product/channel), tracking KPIs for business-unit visibility, driving automation to improve close speed and accuracy, leveraging Salesforce to connect operational and financial data, and assisting with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for Mortgage and Insurance BUs. Lead and develop a team of financial analysts with a hands-on, collaborative approach. Requirements emphasize extensive finance/Accounting experience, Salesforce proficiency, CPA preferred, and ability to translate complex data into executive-level narratives. This is a remote-first Canadian role with compensation range roughly CAD 100,000–CAD 145,000 and flexible hours; remote work is supported across Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of finance and accounting experience; Hands-on experience with Salesforce; CPA designation strongly preferred; experience building processes and automations; ability to connect CRM data to financial reporting; strong financial modeling; leadership experience of analysts; willing to work in a PE-backed, high-growth environment; ability to operate as finance business partner to operational leaders
