Job Summary
Finance Manager for Nabni Facility Management Unit (FMU) based in Amman, Jordan, leading finance management processes for Nabni and its partners. Responsible for ensuring finance setup and function aligns with NRC, Nabni, and donor best practices; designing and implementing financial assessment, monitoring, and reporting procedures; overseeing budgeting, accounting, cashflow management, financial analysis, and auditing; providing line management and capacity building; overseeing partner oversight and development; ensuring compliance with donor requirements and KfW-related guidelines; and coordinating with diverse, remote teams to support grant management and financial governance.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in finance, accounting, or any relevant field
- Minimum 4 years of experience as Financial Manager or similar senior position in humanitarian/recovery context
- Fluency in English and Arabic (written and verbal)
- Experience in NGO Grant Facility or familiarity with related procedures
- Experience working with local and national NGOs, preferably in MENA
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance across MENA
- Ability to train or mentor team members or partners on finance
- Ability to work under pressure independently and with limited supervision
- Experience with KfW-funded projects and knowledge of KfW requirements is highly prioritized
- Excellent coordination, diplomacy, and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration with diverse/remote teams
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Strong accounting software proficiency
