Job Summary
Conduct daily finance operations including accounts receivable, bank postings, expense processing, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities across headquarters in Switzerland and subsidiaries in the US, Spain, and Croatia, managing intercompany balances and supporting group consolidation. Prepare regular management reports, financial KPIs, variance analyses, and rolling forecasts for executive decision-making. Support annual budgeting, cash-flow planning, and statutory compliance for VAT and corporate tax in cooperation with external advisors. Process payment runs, monitor bank liquidity, and assist with external audit schedules and payroll accounting. Actively contribute to the Odoo core team to maintain financial master data and standardize finance workflows. This hands-on role requires precision and structured processes within a collaborative, fast-paced start-up environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, controlling or FP&A, preferably in an international environment
- Fluent in English
- Strong experience with an ERP/accounting system such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, NetSuite, Abacus or similar
Desired Qualifications
- A Swiss Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Accounting and Financial Management (eidg. Fachausweis Finanz- und Rechnungswesen)
- Ideally 2–3 years in a Finance Manager, Senior Controller, Accounting Manager or similar role
- Experience in an international, multinational, technology, medtech or high-growth environment
- German
- Hands-on, structured and proactive approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and growing organization
- A willingness to go the extra mile when needed
