Job Summary
Finance Manager AR-Data, in-office role based in Sacramento, CA. Oversees payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and data & financial reporting for a nonprofit/healthcare-focused organization. Leads and supervises finance staff; develops onboarding/training plans; ensures internal controls and compliance; supports month-end/year-end close and audits; partners with HR on payroll practices and cost allocation. Responsible for data integrity across grants and funder reporting, and for collaborating with program, development, and contracts teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Role requires 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, 3+ years of supervisory experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. On-site in Sacramento with commuting-distance requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or management experience including staff supervision and performance management
- Experience in nonprofit, community-based, or healthcare organizations is preferred
- experience working with accounting and financial management systems; Sage Intacct or similar preferred
