Finance Manager / Accountant

Job Summary
Run the books for Future Kitchens AG, managing accounts payable, receivables, month-end close, and VAT filings under Swiss OR requirements. Prepare weekly payouts for 55+ partner restaurants by reconciling platform revenue from Just Eat, Uber Eats, and Wolt. Build financial dashboards for management, the board, and investors tracking revenue, margins, and store-level performance. Design and roll out an automated accounting product for partners, handling reconciliation and revenue reporting as a core service. Manage monthly payroll for internal staff including salaries, social insurance, and tax certificates. Report directly to the CEO while collaborating with Growth and Operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- Completed commercial or finance education (Fachausweis Finanz- und Rechnungswesen, ideally on the path to expert level, or equivalent)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in Switzerland, ideally in a high-transaction-volume environment (gastronomy, retail, e-commerce, marketplaces)
- Solid command of Swiss accounting standards (OR), Swiss VAT, and Swiss payroll including social insurance
- Strong systems mindset: you automate before you delegate, and you'd rather build a workflow once than repeat a task weekly
- Confident with modern accounting software (Bexio, Abacus, or similar) and comfortable connecting tools via integrations and automation platforms
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Fluent German, professional English

- Experience with delivery platform reporting and reconciliation (Just Eat, Uber Eats, Wolt)
- Experience building finance processes from scratch in a startup or scale-up
- Exposure to AI-assisted workflows and no-code automation (Make, Zapier, or similar)
