Job Summary
Support the General Accounting team in day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Help prepare financial reports, maintain accurate records, and assist with audit requests while ensuring compliance with accounting procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Payroll, FP&A, Tax, and Finance Business Partners to contribute to process improvement initiatives. Apply accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting standards to build a strong foundation in corporate finance.
Required Qualifications
- currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- good written and spoken English
- team-oriented mindset and ability to work collaboratively
- analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP) is considered a plus
- exposure to IFRS or local GAAP through academic coursework is an advantage
