Job Summary
Instructor/Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure Track) in Finance at Western Connecticut State University’s Ancell School of Business. One-year special appointment for Academic Year 2026-2027. Responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester across finance topics (Principles of Finance, Business Statistics/Data Analytics, Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management, Financial Engineering, and related courses), advising and service duties, and active professional engagement. Qualifications vary by rank: Instructor requires a master’s degree in finance or a related field; Assistant Professor requires a doctorate in Finance or a related field (ABD considered). Prior college teaching experience is preferred. Salary ranges: Instructor $71,317–$76,192; Assistant Professor $80,713–$86,231, commensurate with experience. Sponsorship for work visas not available. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance or a related field for Instructor level; Doctorate in Finance or a related field for Assistant Professor level (ABD considered)

- Teaching load of four classes per semester
