Job Summary
Finance & Grants Manager responsible for overseeing financial operations, grant financial management, payroll coordination, budgeting support, and operational systems for Child Enrichment across Augusta and Thomson offices. Collaborates with Executive Director, leadership, auditors, and grant funders to ensure financial accuracy, compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, and timely grant reporting. Key duties include accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, monthly and board financial reporting, audit coordination, grant budgeting and reporting, payroll coordination, HR documentation, vendor management, and process improvements to support organizational growth and sustainability. The role combines nonprofit financial management with grant administration and administrative operations, requiring strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring financial controls and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting, finance, grants management, or nonprofit administrative experience
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial tracking, and grant compliance
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
