Job Summary
Finance & Grants Accountant responsible for grant monitoring, accounting, invoicing and reporting through final closing; assist with grant budgets, monthly closings, and SEFA preparation; coordinate with Finance Director/CFO; requires strong Excel, accounting knowledge, and ability to ensure grant compliance and accurate financial reporting across awarded grants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 3+ years related experience in grants/financial reporting
- Knowledge of grant funding policies and procedures and applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Access
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Proven ability to learn and apply new knowledge
- SAGE Intacct account software experience preferred
- Those eligible to drive company vehicles must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage as defined by the agency commercial insurance carrier
