[Finance] FInance Manager, Business Unit Finance [Orthopaedics]

Job Summary
Lead and support the Business Planning and Strategic Planning cycles for the Orthopaedics business, driving resource recommendations and investment allocation. Coordinate, consolidate, and review franchise financial data while facilitating accurate representation of actual performance, risks, and opportunities through monthly sales dashboards, GP commentary, and price/volume analysis. Manage inventory costs in collaboration with Supply Chain and oversee ERP, CAPEX, and purchase-order systems during the planned separation of the Orthopaedics business. Ensure compliance with SOX, HCC, and FCPA standards while supporting internal and external audit processes. Partner with regional and global finance teams, GS, Tax, and compliance counterparts to deliver market-leading financial results and drive growth across Japan.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance
- An MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other advanced degree(s) or financial certification(s)
- A minimum of 5+ years of finance business experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to inspire, motivate, and empower people
- Strong commitment to compliance and being skilled in accounting and internal controls
- Ability to effectively influence and shape senior level business decisions
- Strong communication and presentation skills both in English and Japanese
- Strong focus on customers with demonstrated results building partnerships and collaborating at all levels and multiple functions/affiliates
- Strong business acumen coupled with strategic mindset
- Experience leading implementation of successful process improvements
- The location of this position is in Japan
