Job Summary
Oversee financial operations for PortPos by recording transactions, managing petty cash, and performing monthly bank and cash reconciliations. Process supplier payments, prepare challans for government treasury deposits, and file VAT and withholding tax returns in compliance with local regulations. Support the preparation of financial statements, coordinate statutory audits, and assist with corporate tax filings. Manage RJSC and secretarial work as required while carrying out additional team assignments. Requires CA (CC) qualification, 1–2 years of finance experience, and strong Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
- CA (CC) from a reputed firm
- MBA with a Major Concentration in Finance/Accounts from any reputed university
- Masters with a Major Concentration in Finance/Accounts from any reputed university
- Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in finance
- Experience in fintech, payment gateways, or technology companies
- Good working experience with Google Sheets and Docs
- Working experience in Microsoft Excel
- Good IT skills
- Well conversant with Automated Accounting/ Finance Systems
- Ability to independently manage and review complex financial reconciliations
- Sound mature judgment and decision-making ability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and teach new technologies and skills as new technology is introduced
Desired Qualifications
- Applicants who completed CA (CC) are preferred
- Experience in Quickbooks
- Knowledge of IFRS, Income Tax Act 2023, Value Added Tax & Supplementary Duty 2012, Company Act 1994
- Have an understanding of virtualization and containerization as a tool for growing scalability, reliability, and expediency
