Job Summary
Finance Director leading the new and used vehicle finance process, securing approvals through lender relationships, presenting financing and protection products, coaching the finance and sales staff, evaluating deals for profitability and compliance, and driving a team-focused culture within a fast-paced auto dealership. Responsibilities include helping desk deals, structuring deals with sales managers, closing opportunities with customers, tracking performance and approvals, ensuring compliance with dealership, lender, state, and federal requirements, and maintaining a positive reputation through professional, customer-focused service. Required: automotive finance leadership experience, strong lender relationships, proficiency with prime/near-prime/subprime lending, and a track record of coaching and closing deals.
Required Qualifications
- Automotive Finance Director or Finance Manager experience
- Strong knowledge of new and used vehicle financing
- Experience with prime, near-prime, and subprime lending
- Strong lender relationships
- Excellent closing skills
- Ability to help desk deals and support the sales floor
