Job Summary
Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's long-term objectives. Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities while managing cash flow, treasury operations, and working capital. Lead the preparation of financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions, and oversee the financial risk management framework. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, and lead, mentor, and develop the finance team. This hybrid role requires 50% time at the Columbia Maryland office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- CPA designation
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance roles
- At least 3 years in a leadership level position
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations for a growing company
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in financial software (Netsuite) and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- 50% of the time being spent at the Columbia Maryland office
