Finance Director, LATAM Supply Chain

Job Summary
Oversee financial operations for the LATAM Supply Chain organization, managing a team of eight and leading monthly accounting closes with GAAP-compliant reporting to Corporate. Drive P&L accountability for "Make" and Move long-term plans, budgets, and forecasts while partnering with regional leaders to define holistic supply chain strategies and implement cost levers. Lead transformational productivity projects, major capex investment proposals, and supplier negotiations, ensuring proper business cases and driving increased IRR. Evaluate make cost performance, conduct deep-dives into operational issues, and standardize global cost policies and procedures. Present financial positions at divisional reviews and support ERP implementations to enhance automation and internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- CIMA, ACCA or equivalent Accounting, Finance Qualification and Degree
- 8+ years of progressive, financial/business experience in Supply Chain finance in a Manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG or pharmaceutical industry
- 5+ years of experience as team leader/people manager
- Strong proven knowledge of financial accounting standards and Supply Chain principles/processes (eg. S&OP/IBP)
- Excellent project management skills including the ability to manage cross-unit and cross-function teams including indirect reporting relationships
- Thorough understanding of business, processes, systems and internal controls
- Experience with Costing and practical experience with cost accounting
- Demonstrated strong, sustained high performance coupled with the ability to lead people and change effectively
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels within a matrix organization
- Excellent negotiation and communication (both oral and written) skills with demonstrated ability to present ideas to and influence others
- Excellent technical aptitude including extensive experience with Excel spreadsheets required
- SAP/ERP experience required
- Advanced English (spoken & written)
- Hybrid (60/40) capacity
- 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
