Job Summary
CNS Healthcare seeks a Finance Director to lead the accounting and financial operations, providing oversight to general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial statements following GAAP and nonprofit standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining internal controls, overseeing cash flow, ensuring compliance with funding regulations, supervising finance staff, and preparing cost reports for Medicaid. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA license, a bachelor's degree, significant accounting experience, and strong knowledge of Gaap and nonprofit accounting.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of nonprofit fund accounting, software, and systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP
- Knowledge of Federal Grants & Contract requirements
- Experience coordinating annual audits/budgets, forecasting, and maintaining financial records/statements
- Experience with Health Record systems (EHR)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Experience with Medicaid and cost reporting
