Job Summary
Serve as the primary Deal Desk resource for APAC Sales and Customer Success teams, reviewing non-standard pricing, discounting, and contract terms while protecting company revenue and margin. Evaluate deal structures with an eye toward compliance, ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines, and legal requirements, partnering closely with global stakeholders to align on terms and drive deals to close. Implement scalable quoting and contracting processes, provide training on Deal Desk policies, and leverage CRM, CPQ, and CLM tools to manage workflows and produce regional performance reports. This high-visibility role supports the first Deal Desk hire in the region, helping to shape Klaviyo's APAC market expansion as we scale our Sydney and Singapore hubs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or commercial operations experience
- Experience in a SaaS or technology company
- Prior experience supporting an APAC market
- Comfortable being the first and sole Deal Desk resource in a region
- Ability to prioritize independently
- Ability to make sound judgment calls
- Ability to escalate effectively when needed
- Familiarity with software contract terms
- Familiarity with MSA structures
- Ability to review and negotiate standard commercial language
- Experience with SaaS pricing models
- Strong attention to detail
- Data-driven approach to problem-solving
- Ability to build and review financial models
- Ability to build and review ad-hoc reports
- Clear and confident communication skills
