Job Summary
Lead local and global data governance for Finance in the MSESE organization, acting as the single point of contact for Finance divisional Data Governance topics and coordinating with Global Finance Data Office to drive compliance with firm standards. Drive data quality initiatives, coordinate BCBS239 compliance, and oversee regulatory submissions and post-implementation maintenance. Represent MSESE Finance at data forums, lead transformation projects, and collaborate with regulators where appropriate; supervise outsourced data quality services and align with the Firm's Data Strategy and risk-management framework.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in banking, financial control, regulatory reporting or data governance
- Understanding of capital, liquidity and financial regulatory reporting frameworks
- Strong knowledge of BCBS239, enterprise data governance and regulatory reporting architectures
- Expertise in data governance, data quality, and controls
- Familiarity with large-scale data environments and cloud-based platforms
- Understanding of Finance functions, industry dynamics, key risks, and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders globally across Finance, Risk, Technology and Operations
- Ability to create meaningful documentation for executive and board level use
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Collaborative and participative style
- Fluency in English; German advantageous
