Finance/Corporate Trust Associate (Attorney)

Job Summary
Represent major banks and financial institutions as trustees, administrative agents, escrow agents, and collateral or security agents in corporate debt, project finance, municipal bond, secured, and structured financing transactions, including defaults. Manage complex transactional documents and prioritize work within a deadline-intensive environment while representing clients across Hartford, CT; Stamford, CT; or Boston, MA. Submit a resume and law school transcript for consideration, with a deal sheet and cover letter appreciated but not required. Candidates must be admitted to the state of the office or have the ability to become admitted post-hire, bringing at least four years of law firm experience and top academic credentials.
Required Qualifications
- at least four years of experience
- at least four years of experience in a law firm setting
- working with major banks and other financial institutions
- representing them as trustees, administrative agents, escrow agents and collateral or security agents
- in a wide variety of corporate debt, project finance, municipal bond, secured and structured financing transactions and defaults
- finance or securities/capital markets experience
- ability to work with complex transactional documents
- ability to prioritize work in a deadline-intensive environment
- top academic credentials
- excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Attorneys must be admitted in the state their office is located
- ability to become admitted in that state after hire
- Graduation from law school
- practice experience
