Job Summary
Finance Controls Expert Analyst responsible for supporting and monitoring ICFR controls across the organization, including CSA documentation, monitoring and enhancing control processes in revenue and accounting. Acts as primary point of contact for internal and external audits, collaborates with Accounting, FP&A, and Revenue teams to embed controls in global processes, and drives efficiency through automation tools (Power Automate, Power Query) and dashboards (Power BI), with a focus on data-driven improvements and risk mitigation. Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance/economics/accounting, 8+ years of accounting experience, advanced Excel, Power BI, and experience with ICFR, CSA, and control testing methodologies. Remote-friendly role based in Heredia, Costa Rica with a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field
- Advanced English
- 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting
- Experience with ICFR frameworks and control testing methodologies (CSA, control validation, documentation review)
- Experience reviewing and assessing financial controls, including reconciliations, journal entries, and risk identification
- Background in Audit, Internal Controls, or Controllership environments with exposure to audits
- Advanced Excel proficiency with data analysis, complex formulas, and dashboard creation; experience with Power BI for reporting
