Finance Controller

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across all divisions, ensuring general ledger accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements. Manage annual budgets and monthly forecasts while maintaining and enforcing the chart of accounts, account reconciliation cadence, and journal entry approval controls within Epicor. Monitor production costs, inventory valuation, and variances weekly to perform necessary adjustments and improve profitability prior to month-end. Reconcile balance sheet positions monthly, post daily journal entries, and establish robust internal controls to ensure financial integrity. Process operational capital expenditure requests, lead annual physical inventory and monthly cycle counts, and perform annual cost rolls and inventory revaluations. Liaise for annual tax preparation for US and Canada and maintain corporate compliance calendars. Manage, train, and develop accounting staff. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years in manufacturing accounting.
