Job Summary
Lead, mentor, and inspire a large, multi-property finance team while driving an automated month-end and year-end close across business units. Own the monthly Financial Review with operations, delivering insight-rich statements, dashboards, and labour KPI reporting that operators use for decision-making. Partner with teams to drive revenue, control costs, and elevate guest satisfaction through data-led strategy. Champion the finance function's evolution by modernizing business intelligence tooling and harnessing AI to automate reconciliations, streamline the close, and forecast demand. Safeguard company assets through strong internal controls and oversee year-end audits, reviews, and tax filings delivered accurately and on time. This role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and operations within Canadian Niagara Hotels Group, transforming the finance function into a data-driven powerhouse that gives operators the intelligence needed to win.
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation
- 5+ years of progressive post-qualification experience
- proven leadership of a finance team
- Advanced Excel skills

- Deep understanding of hotel and hospitality financials
- Command of the metrics that drive our business: RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, flow-through, GOP, and F&B / labour cost controls
- Experience navigating the complexity of a multi-property, multi-brand environment spanning hotels, restaurants, retail, and attractions
- Ability to connect operational levers - rooms, food & beverage, spa, events, retail - to their financial outcomes
