Job Summary
Finance Control Manager for Rotterdam Refinery responsible for ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and advisory support to business and operational stakeholders. Lead quarterly close, support capital projects and complex transactions, challenge decisions, drive continuous improvement, and partner with refinery leadership to strengthen controls and business performance. Requires a senior finance professional with hands-on experience in finance control, governance, and risk, fluency in Dutch and English, and a track record of delivering value in manufacturing/refining environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance Control, Financial Accounting, Audit, Business Finance, or a similar finance leadership role
- Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, reporting requirements, and risk management
- Fluent Dutch and English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Experience working in a complex industrial, manufacturing, refining, energy, or multinational environment is highly valued
- Experience supporting capital projects, investments, acquisitions, or complex business transactions
- Ability to lead quarterly close activities and support internal and external audits
