Job Summary
Finance Control Analyst role (on-site in Chantilly/Herndon/McLean/Reston, VA) supporting junior to senior levels. Responsibilities include preparing routine to moderately complex financial activities, managing accounting operations (debt collection, payments, banking, payroll), reconciling GL and bank accounts, processing corrective vouchers, establishing commitments/obligations, ensuring data integrity in financial databases, processing travel reimbursements, and providing financial guidance to team members. Mid-level and above expand to originate/post financial data, revalidate commitments, and broader GAAP knowledge. Active TS/SCI Poly required. Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance required for all levels
- Junior level requires Associate's degree or equivalent experience (2+ years) in finance or related field
- Mid-level and above require Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or closely related field
- Minimum 2 years professional experience for junior; minimum 3 years for mid-level and above
- Experience with federal government financial systems and GAAP knowledge (GAAP/FASAB/FASB) preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with customers and resolve problems
- Adaptability to changing work requirements and priorities
- Ability to research and resolve standard financial problems
