Job Summary
Monitor and manage tenant delinquencies across the full property portfolio by conducting follow-up calls and sending notices for overdue balances. Reconcile tenant ledgers and accounts to ensure accuracy while tracking, analyzing, and reporting delinquency metrics and trends to leadership. Maintain detailed records of all collection activities and coordinate with property managers and legal teams when escalation is required. Develop and improve collection workflows, policies, and follow-up processes while assisting in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports. Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, variance analysis, and investor-related reporting to create high-level, owner-facing reports that translate raw data into actionable insights. Perform these duties remotely Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST, with a monthly compensation of USD $1,000 to $1,300.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Collections / Accounts Receivable
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written), comfortable handling US-based calls
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to create clear, concise, high-level reports for leadership
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AppFolio (preferred), Yardi, or similar property management software
- CPA, CMA, or similar accounting certification
- Experience in real estate, property management, or fund administration
- Familiarity with US landlord-tenant laws and eviction processes
- Experience working with external accountants or investor reporting
- Experience with AppFolio, Yardi, or similar tools
