Job Summary
Contribute within Customer Finance or Financial Accounting areas, overseeing financial transactions with retail grocery chains or managing activities including financial reporting, audit, cash management, treasury, and accounts payable. Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Information Technology, and Logistics to develop an understanding of various Finance activities within Gorton's. Bachelor's Degree Candidate majoring in Finance, Accounting, or closely related major required, with a preference for Junior year students. Located in Gloucester, Massachusetts, this co-op internship offers professional growth in a collaborative environment supporting the mission to make quality seafood accessible to everyone.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Candidate majoring in Finance, Accounting, or closely related major
- Career interest in Corporate Finance and/or Accounting
- A demonstrated ability to work independently
- Outstanding attention to accuracy and detail
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative, self-starter
- Solid PC Skills
- Ability to effectively interact with a wide range of people
