Job Summary
Finance Capability Strategy Specialist role within the NSW Department of Education. Lead development and delivery of finance capability uplift strategies and training programs to empower school leaders and staff across NSW. Design learning solutions grounded in adult learning principles and instructional design; engage a broad range of stakeholders; identify capability needs; evaluate learning outcomes and drive continuous improvement. Align initiatives with the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and the NSW AECG Partnership Agreement to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Role requires collaboration, strategic thinking, and the ability to shape innovative capability-building solutions; permanent, ongoing opportunities with flexible working arrangements in Parramatta.
Required Qualifications
- Qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) or eligibility and willingness to obtain
- Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens or valid work visa)
- National Criminal History Check (pre-employment) will be required
