Job Summary
Lead the annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes for the assigned client group, developing financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis. Act as the trusted finance advisor to functional and commercial leaders by analyzing performance versus plan, identifying key drivers, and monitoring KPIs related to R&D spend, commercial revenue, and operational efficiency. Prepare recurring management reports and dashboards for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end cycles, providing insights to leadership and input for Board and investor materials. Ensure compliance with SOX and internal policies while driving continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and data quality. Support the evaluation of strategic initiatives, business cases, and commercial proposals to align with financial plans and corporate objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, business partnering, or a related finance role
- Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional leaders in a matrixed environment
- Solid working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information to non-finance audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
Desired Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent certification
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other highly regulated industries
- Experience in a publicly listed organization and familiarity with SOX
- Working knowledge of ERP and consolidation systems (SAP, NetSuite, OneStream)
