Job Summary
Partner with Production, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to provide financial insights that drive operational decision-making, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze operational costs and performance drivers to identify efficiency gains, while monitoring and evaluating cost-saving initiatives against business targets. Maintain product standard costs, report Purchase Price Variances and manufacturing variances, and prepare financial analyses for local management and Group stakeholders. Coordinate budget and forecast processes, manage operational assumptions, and enhance reporting solutions using Power BI and other analytical tools. Provide clear explanations of variances between actual results, budget, and forecast. This role supports the Operations Director and aligns with Group Finance functions within a global bakery group's manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, standard costing, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
- Experience working with ERP systems in an international business environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is considered an advantage
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools
