Job Summary
Lead finance partner activities for the Thousand Oaks Manufacturing site as the main business partner for the facility. This role drives budgeting, forecasting, financial variance analysis, and development of financial business cases for capital investments; collaborates with site leadership on manufacturing performance, local risks and opportunities, and transformation initiatives; ensures budget accountability, data integrity in financial tools, and oversight of SOX controls and statutory reporting. Requires a BS/BA in Accounting or Finance with 10+ years of experience; strong financial analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and ERP proficiency (SAP, JD Edwards, SAP Analytics Cloud, Blackline, Concur, Ariba, Qlik Cloud). Demonstrates strategic thinking, executive presence, and ability to partner across a global, matrixed organization.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Experience supporting cross-functional decision making
- Experience with ERP tools and finance systems (SAP, JD Edwards, SAP Analytics Clouds, Blackline, Concur, Ariba, Qlik Cloud)
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence
- Problem solving and strategic thinking
- Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry
- Cost accounting experience with exposure to manufacturing and/or supply chain
- Ability to synthesize large data sets for financial modeling
