Finance Business Partner – Capital Investment Insight Lead

Job Summary
Finance Business Partner to lead end-to-end capital investment appraisal, developing robust business cases for capital initiatives in collaboration with operational finance partners. Build and maintain repeatable business case frameworks with scenario planning and financial modelling. Own the Post Investment Review process to translate capital investments into actionable insights guiding future investment. Lead the transition to modern BI tools (Sigma or equivalent) with capital dashboards and self-service reporting. Act as the primary finance partner for Facilities Management capital investment, supporting Proposition and Central Operations teams on capital queries. Build trusted relationships with operational stakeholders and across the finance function, and contribute to data quality and governance with Capex Accounting. The role sits in Haven’s Hemel Hempstead HQ with hybrid working (minimum 3 days in office) and offers career development into leadership roles.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Accounting or Finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify patterns and derive actionable insight from complex datasets
- Experience with BI tools such as Sigma or Tableau (desirable)
- Capital investment appraisal experience and business case building (highly desirable and central to the role)
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and building trusted stakeholder relationships
