Job Summary

Lead contract-level forecasting by gathering inputs, analyzing trends and variances, and presenting results to delivery and account leadership. Review monthly financial results to ensure accurate cost postings, revenue recognition, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and federal requirements. Manage working capital balances through unbilled reviews, inventory reconciliations, invoicing tracking, and cash-flow optimization while maintaining high-quality financial records including sales bookings, time charging, and journal entries. Serve as a trusted advisor to delivery leads, providing financial insights that highlight risks, opportunities, and performance drivers. Coordinate with PMO, Delivery, Contract Management, and Controllership to support operational efficiency and transparent financial reporting. Act as the formal finance preparer for project setup in designated financial systems under applicable contract thresholds. Execute internal controls and apply AFS policies and procedures to ensure compliance and accurate financial outcomes. Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting, reporting, and financial management processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, program finance, federal contracting finance, or related disciplines
  • Experience with financial forecasting, variance analysis, and project-level financial reporting
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP principles and federal compliance considerations
  • Strong analytical ability with demonstrated experience interpreting financial data and communicating insights
  • Proficiency in financial tools (Excel or equivalent analytic tools)
  • Ability to collaborate with delivery teams and communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting federal government contracts or federally funded programs
  • Experience with working capital management, billing processes, or accruals
  • Exposure to ERP or financial systems used in program finance environments
  • Experience contributing to process improvements or financial operations enhancements
  • Prior advisory experience supporting project managers or operational leaders
