Job Summary
Conduct detailed financial due diligence for acquisitions, mergers, and buyouts while leading the production of strategic business plans. Manage audit processes and ensure compliance across the group's six companies, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making for the founder's new portfolio expansion. Lead cross-functional teams in managing financial growth during transitions from SME to mid-sized operations, leveraging extensive ERP and Excel expertise. Requires ACCA/ACA qualification, 7–10 years in management accounting within engineering or manufacturing, and an MBA is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in management accounting
- Proven track record of participating in audits, including preparation and management of audit processes
- Extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and buyouts, including due diligence and integration
- Excellent knowledge of financial systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel skills
- Experience managing financial growth in businesses transitioning from SME to mid-sized operations
- Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership qualities and the ability to manage cross-functional teams
