Job Summary
Support Business Analysis activities across the project life cycle by gathering, clarifying, and documenting business requirements through stakeholder engagement. Analyze existing processes, data, and pain points to identify improvement opportunities, escalating gaps or risks where further input is needed. Assist in preparing clear documentation including process maps, requirements, meeting notes, action logs, and user stories while contributing ideas during workshops and team discussions. Take ownership of personal development by seeking feedback and building knowledge of business analysis practices and internal standards. Prioritize work, manage actions, and follow through on commitments within iterative or changing delivery environments.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in a finance, change, operations or analysis environment
- Attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn
- Developing business analysis skills across problem analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, documentation, testing support and change implementation
- Able to structure information clearly and turn discussions, notes and observations into concise written outputs
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, process flows and business documentation, with an eye for detail and consistency
- Able to prioritise work, manage actions and follow through on commitments with support and guidance
- Open to working in iterative or changing delivery environments where requirements may evolve over time
- Naturally inquisitive, with the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions respectfully and seek clarity rather than make guesses
- Adaptable and resilient, able to stay positive and effective when priorities, information or direction change
- Takes the initiative to demonstrate ownership and accountability for tasks
- Strong listener who can build rapport with different stakeholders and communicate clearly, simply and professionally
