Job Summary
Embed within marketing teams to understand workflows, monitor expenditure with granular detail, and ensure every dollar spent aligns with strategic goals. Act as a "Critical Friend" by reviewing campaign proposals, stress-testing ROI projections, and flagging financial risks before money is spent. Lead monthly forecast cycles, perform rigorous variance analysis, and translate complex financial data into actionable executive summaries for leadership. Proactively leverage AI tools to automate routine tasks, uncover deeper data insights, and streamline finance workflows. Guide business partners on safely using AI tools to improve daily financial hygiene and decision-making. This role supports the company's AI Transformation initiative and requires 4–6 years of experience in FP&A or Business Partnering.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Business Partnering supporting multiple business units
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex modeling, Power Query) and ERP systems
- Demonstrable experience using Generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for professional productivity, data analysis, or process improvement
- High emotional intelligence to manage stakeholder pushback, coupled with professional skepticism
- Constructively Skeptical: You are comfortable asking 'why?' and 'prove it.' You can push back on a weak business case respectfully but firmly, regardless of the stakeholder's seniority
- Tech-Forward & Adaptable: You don't wait for IT to hand you a new tool; you actively explore how generative AI and automation can make your job faster and more accurate
- Detail-Oriented & Data-Driven: You anchor your arguments in hard numbers and notice the small discrepancies that others miss
- Exceptional Communicator: You can explain complex financial realities to non-finance leaders clearly, bridging the gap between operational goals and budget constraints
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Data Visualization (Tableau, PowerBI) is highly preferred
