Job Summary
Finance Banking Specialist responsible for compiling, calculating, reconciling and posting financial data for client records and financial reports; supports daily Finance team activities, including check/ACH processing, posting deposits and payments, reconciling funding items, maintaining ledgers, producing client reports, and ensuring quality and adherence to procedures; requires strong Excel and 10-key skills, basic bookkeeping knowledge, 2+ years related experience, attention to detail, and customer service aptitude. 100% remote position with duties spanning financial data handling, record keeping, and process improvement in a health-plan solutions company environment.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma required
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience
- Ability to reconcile funding accounts and transactions
- Prior bank reconciliation experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Proficient in 10-key and typing skills
- Ability to follow-up on work assigned and obtains proper review and approval
- Ability to gather and analyze information for problem resolution
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and above average customer service skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle stress, interacts professionally with others
