Finance Automation Engineer

Job Summary
Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to analyse operational processes and identify opportunities to streamline, optimise and automate workflows. Design and configure automation solutions using low-code and enterprise platforms, including workflows, business rules, alerts, dashboards and reporting. Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions while acting as the bridge between business and technical teams. Support data analysis, quality improvement and process optimisation initiatives to drive better business outcomes. Contribute to solution delivery through testing, documentation, training, stakeholder engagement and ongoing production support. Work within a 700+ team across 12 locations and 9 time zones to help drive the transition from bespoke processes towards enterprise-grade automation frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- experience delivering technology, automation or transformation initiatives within financial services, fintech or similarly complex environments
- strong understanding of Finance Operations, including areas such as reconciliations, invoicing, journals, pricing or related financial processes
- confident working with data
- strong SQL skills
- strong Excel skills
- ability to turn insights into practical solutions

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with low-code platforms such as Appian, Microsoft Power Platform or similar automation technologies
