Job Summary
Two Finance Associates will jointly own distinct workstreams within Brex’s Corporate FP&A function, designing and improving forecasting and planning processes, building and maintaining financial models, and contributing to AI-enabled tooling and the financial systems roadmap. Responsibilities include coordinating budgeting, headcount planning, and G&A processes; producing monthly management reports and rolling forecasts for executive leadership; supporting Budget vs. Actual materials; and collaborating with cross-functional partners to automate reporting and scale impact. The role emphasizes ownership, cross-team collaboration, and delivering insights to inform Brex’s total company business plan while leveraging AI to enhance workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of Strategic Finance, FP&A, or Investment Banking experience
- Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint with proven experience in building financial models and managing complex data
- Strong communication, team-working, quantitative and analytical skills
- Intellectual curiosity, a collaborative work style, and the drive to take ownership in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to operate independently, build structure in ambiguous environments, and prioritize effectively
- A bias toward proactive insight over reactive reporting
