Job Summary
Finance Assistant - Wholesale (FTC) will oversee wholesale debts, credit control, invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end procedures. You will report to the International & Wholesale Finance Manager and collaborate with the Cash Receipts team, Wholesale team, and management accounts team. Day-to-day tasks include issuing invoices, raising credit notes for Wholesale customers, reviewing daily bank receipt journals, addressing payment queries and overpayments, applying for credit cover and reporting aged balances to credit insurers, preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for Wholesale customer balances, preparing month-end journals for the Wholesale business, supporting year-end statutory audit, and other ad-hoc finance duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months credit control/management accounts experience
- MS Excel and Outlook skills
- Ability to multitask, maintain focus under pressure and ensure accuracy and attention to detail
- Good written communication skills
- Styleman and Sun Ledger systems experience (desired, but not essential)
- Organized, motivated, methodical with keen eye for detail
- Self-starter, proactive work style
- Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
