Job Summary
Finance Assistant responsibilities include reviewing and verifying invoices prior to payment, coding and matching invoices by cost center, posting transactions to the general journal and ledger, reconciling organization credit card accounts at month end, assisting with processing checks and disbursement of funds to support clients, and performing additional related duties as assigned. Requires proficiency in data entry and data management, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint), Adobe Acrobat, database programs, and strong English written/oral communication, time-management, organization, and ability to work both independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
