Job Summary
Finance Applications & Systems Transformation Lead responsible for ownership of finance systems and master data across key finance process areas, ensuring compliant financial processes and enabling ongoing transformation through standardization, simplification, and automation. You will translate business requirements into functional specifications, system designs, and scalable solutions; partner with Finance, Technology, Data, and Internal Controls teams to deliver capable system functionality; design and enhance configurations, integrations, business rules, and embedded controls; drive knowledge transfer and ensure operational readiness for new processes and systems; develop comprehensive documentation (procedures, runbooks, playbooks, decision trees, exception-handling guidelines) to support audit, governance, and long-term sustainability; define and monitor KPIs related to operational readiness, stability, quality, and continuous improvement; lead testing activities (functional testing, UAT, release readiness) and coordinate incident management, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution; champion simplification and automation of processes and standardization of data structures across the organization; collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects with minimal operational impact and contribute to transformation roadmaps and continuous-improvement programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in finance systems, ERP environments, or related functional leadership roles
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes including financial close, reporting, and internal controls
- Experience with ERP finance modules and related finance applications
- Proven track record of leading system improvements and cross-functional projects
- Experience creating operational documentation in evolving process environments
