Job Summary
Monitor government contract vehicles and perform initial opportunity assessments to identify task order opportunities aligned with strategic objectives. Support proposal development activities, including solicitation review, compliance analysis, document preparation, and pricing support. Manage daily finance and accounting operations, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and financial reporting. Assist with budgeting, labor reporting, and the full-cycle recruiting process, from job postings to offer administration. Prepare reports and presentations for leadership while identifying opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency. This hybrid role in Arlington, Virginia, offers a flexible work arrangement combining remote work with regular in-office collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; employment is contingent upon successfully meeting all government security requirements, including fingerprinting and security clearance processing beginning on the first day of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, Project Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in finance, business operations, project coordination or management, government contracting, or a related field; relevant internships or equivalent experience may be considered.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business and employee information.
- Experience using AI solutions/tools with controlled/sensitive information.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal government contracting, professional services, or consulting organizations.
- Familiarity with proposal development, business operations, or project coordination.
- Experience with accounting, payroll, HRIS, ATS, or business management systems.
- Familiarity with federal procurement concepts or contract vehicles.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, or executive presentations.
