Job Summary
Finance and Business Management - Associate supports merchant-services controller functions within a commercial & investment bank, delivering finance workstreams for strategic projects (platform migrations, product launches, billing and reporting enhancements, legal-entity simplification), performing detailed financial analysis and reporting to management, and managing month-end close with robust controls across cross-functional programs. The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, process improvement, and the execution of finance-driven transformation initiatives, including requirements, design, UAT, cutover, and implementation activities to drive accurate reporting and strong financial controls.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related area
- Experience supporting finance workstreams on projects (e.g., new product implementations, platform enhancements), assisting with requirements, documenting controls, executing UAT, tracking issues, and providing support under guidance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Experience producing P&L and managing the month-end close process
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a strong control focus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
