Job Summary
Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management by briefing on complex issues and responding to leadership inquiries. Ensure data integrity in reporting while maintaining internal controls and compliance with federal regulations. Analyze financial data from various systems to create reports and support organizational objectives through policy development and system implementation. Prepare and review complex financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations in adherence to GAAP, FASAB, and FASB standards. Develop financial forecasts to support pricing strategies and conduct functional testing for financial systems. Participate in financial committees and working groups as directed. This role supports the Washington metropolitan area mission with a competitive salary range of $98,800 - $217,500.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, meeting CPA educational requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
- Minimum of 11 years of professional accounting experience in financial management, accounting, auditing, or fiscal control
- Extensive knowledge of federal accounting principles, regulations, and standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
