Finance and Accounting Manager

Job Summary
Oversee financial reporting, inventory accounting, operations analysis and finance aspects; facilitate development and management of business plans; ensure internal controls and compliance; provide recommendations on opportunities to improve growth, efficiency, asset utilization, and cost reductions; responsibilities include inventory valuation and cost of sales recording, and supporting the Accounting and Finance team. Requires knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, leadership, analytical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work in manufacturing environments with diverse groups. Proficient with financial systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel; minimal travel.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Masters in Accounting or MBA (with strong Accounting emphasis)
- CPA license preferred
- 10+ years of broad experience in accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting/financial analysis
- In-depth understanding of accounting/finance function in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency of financial systems and related processes
- In-depth understanding of accounting theory, principles and practices
- Ability to work within an international setting with diverse cultures and a variety of functional groups at all levels of the organization
- Minimal Travel Required
- Computer skills include but not limited to (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, SAP)
