Finance and Accounting Lead

Finance & Accounting Lead acts as the right hand of the Head of Group Accounting, overseeing day-to-day General Ledger operations, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations, and contributing to month-end/year-end close across multiple entities. Leads a team of four, monitors workload and deadlines, and supports onboarding and development. Supports budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and ad-hoc analysis; provides insights and ensures compliance with accounting standards; strengthens internal controls and supports audits. The role offers hybrid and flexible working options, including the possibility to work from abroad for up to 14 days per year. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting and 6–8+ years of accounting experience; experience in an international environment is a plus; strong Excel, ERP and analytical skills; proactive, resilient, and improvement-driven mindset; knowledge of BUA and WKR.
