Job Summary
Finance and Accounting Intern responsible for supporting forecasting, planning, analytics and reporting activities. Assist with management reporting, business tracking, and decision-support analysis; help develop new tools, processes and controls to ensure data integrity and accuracy; deliver analyses to aid decision making; identify and drive process improvements; analyze market and business trends; participate in weekly finance meetings. Requires university enrollment in finance/economics/accounting or related business field, proficiency in Microsoft Office, potential Power BI familiarity, fluency in Chinese and English, and availability to work 3-4 days per week for at least 6 months in Shanghai, China. This is a part-time internship with Disney’s Disney-wide Finance team in Shanghai.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently attending an accredited university majoring in finance, economics, accounting or have another business related focus
- Prior work experience not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Power BI knowledge is a plus
- Fluent in Chinese and English
- Able to work 3-4 days/week for a 6-month minimum term
- Must be a fast learner, proactive, collaborative, team player, problem solver, and have a positive attitude
