Job Summary
Process and manage all cash pay billing cycles, ensuring timely and accurate invoice generation for patients and clients. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations to ensure financial records remain accurate. Field customer calls regarding invoices and describe care services while managing extension requests and contracts. Track outstanding balances, conduct proactive follow-up on unpaid invoices, and coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain organized records within billing systems and EHR/EMR platforms, generate regular revenue reports for leadership, and assist with audits and process improvement initiatives. Support the build-out of insurance billing operations, including claim coding, scrubbing, submissions, and A/R tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 0–2 years of experience managing accounts receivable
- Customer service experience
- Healthcare related experience, ideally in behavioral health
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, DocuSign, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Innovative mindset with an interest in improving systems and processes, particularly through technology
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about mental health and substance use disorder treatment
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally, experience with account reconciliation, collections, and payment processing
