Job Summary
Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes while developing financial models for revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and capital investments. Analyze operational performance against budget and prior-year results to identify key drivers impacting revenue, utilization, and profitability, then deliver actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes. Develop dashboards, KPI reporting, and recurring management reports to monitor metrics such as equipment utilization, revenue per FTE, and cost-to-serve, supporting monthly business reviews and executive presentations. Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Fleet, and Service leaders to evaluate fleet investments, capital allocation strategies, and return on invested capital, preparing business cases and leadership summaries to drive strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into business recommendations.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and operational performance metrics.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting operational or asset-intensive businesses.
- Experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Experience working with large datasets and business reporting tools.
